As you may know, we brought our miracle baby Yanah Marie Gouché into this world via the backseat of my car on Nov 30th 2017. Praise God! At 7 months pregnant (and what seems now like a complete act of faith… you’ll see why when you watch the episode) my family and I shot an episode of Home Made Simple airing on the Oprah Winfrey Network this Mother’s Day weekend.
I remember imagining being able to watch the episode in the future, holding my baby. The thought alone gave me chills. Oh my goodness. The time is finally here!
I’m particularly emotional about this whole experience because for the first time ever I was able to feature my personal story, my profession as a social media coach, my non profit (The Gouché Foundation), my faith and my family all in one place. There were a lot of tears while shooting this episode but it was all worth it. Don’t worry, there are lots of happy tears too. I promise! Just tune in.
Saturday, May 12th at 9am EST (6am PT). It’s also repeating on Sunday, May 13th at 1pm EST (10am PST).
If you’ve ever been through anything in life and overcame it, I’m sure you’ll by inspired by this episode. And if you’re currently going through something tough that requires a huge heap of faith, you’ll want to set your DVR to record it. While the episode is about redesigning a room in my home, it’s really about so much more.
P.S. Don’t have Cable? I don’t either! lol I haven’t paid for cable in years.
Download the OWN App on your phone. It will ask you to login with your cable provider but I was able to watch one free episode (before it locked me out from watching other episodes.) so I’m crossing fingers you’ll be able to do the same come this weekend. Worst case scenario, borrow ya aunty’s, sister’s, hair stylist’s cable login and password. #AintNoShameInIt haha
