Thank you for your interest. We are seeking a spunky, creative and knowledgeable social media manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience working with service providers (consultants, real estate professionals, therapists) as well as lifestyle brands.
Position: Creative Social Media Manager
Location: Remote (can work from anywhere as long as you have your own computer and a secure wifi connection)
Status: Freelance (3 to 5 hours a week)
Starts: IMMEDIATELY
Rate: $16 to $18 per hour – Depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin etc.)
- Creative copy for social media posts and blog content
- Manage editorial and content calendar
- Analyze engagement
- Assemble email marketing campaigns
- Basic graphic skills (canva.com is okay)
- Create marketing reports to be shared with team/clients
Characteristics
- Excellent communication skills with marketing manager (client facing experience is a plus!)
- Extreme attention to detail in phone meetings, during note taking and in all writing and communications
- Creative and idea driven
- Genuine love for social media – always interested in learning, reading, and growing
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 to 2 years experience managing social media pages/campaigns **Must be able to show work (links to social profiles you’ve managed or currently manage. Profiles other than your own)
- Experience interfacing and communicating with business clients
- Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
- Proven professionalism and discretion when it comes to sensitive information
- Familiar with tools and applications such as: Hootsuite, Planoly, Canva, Bitly, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (and various social media phone apps))
- Strong Internet/social media research skills
