I recently signed on a new 6 months coaching client from Texas. Yay! She found me on Instagram. YES, social media works people!
After an amazing Social Success Discovery Call she said she really appreciated how I actually listened to what she was saying and based my suggestions off of that. She mentioned that she got on the phone with another coach a few weeks back and this woman talked to her for 2 minutes then pitched her on services. Really? Do people really do that? YUCK!
I wrote this on Facebook because I felt the need to let people know that’s not cool. That is NOT how I do things. After I accept an application, I get on the phone to determine if you’d be a good fit for me just as much as you’re trying to see if my coaching is a good fit for you. A coaching relationship is a very intimate thing and it has to be right!
I don’t just take on anybody (I have criteria too) and I sure as heck am not interested in taking anyone’s money if I know good and well I can’t help take them to another level. I wish all coaches had more integrity but… that’s another post. I love being a social media and business coach but truly, sometimes people give the word “coach” a bad name.
I say all of that to say, if you are someone who has been struggling with your service business, your systems, your social media strategy and your client/program enrollment, let’s talk.
